Welcome to the Municipality of Perth South
Our family enjoys all the year round outdoor activities that Perth South has to offer – camping, golfing, hiking trails, fishing, tube sliding and snowmobiling. It’s a great place to live!

Greetings from Perth South! Where time flows like the Thames River and life is rewarding! Innovators in farming, the communities of Kirkton, Avonton, Sebringville, St. Pauls, Avonbank, Rannoch and Harmony make up this bountiful farmland.
The history buff will find Perth South the perfect place to explore. A beautiful Victorian era house is the new home of the Stratford Perth Museum on Highway 8 just west of Stratford. Open year round the museum celebrates all that is Perth County with a mixture of permanent collections and annual exhibits, events and programs. With more than 20,000 artifacts on display throughout the year there is something for everyone. Take your time and enjoy yourself with a picnic on the grounds.
Visit McCully’s Hill Farm for an adventure the whole family will enjoy. Come in the fall for the Maple Syrup Celebrations and enjoy the Maple Sugar Bush Tours and breakfast. Instead of a sandbox let the kids play in a “corn box” and spend time with the farm animals.
If you love adventure, the Wildwood Conservation Area is the perfect destination! Located on Hwy 7, this natural area offers camping, boating, fishing, hiking trails and summer programs for the entire family. A breathtaking view of the lake is visible from the highway as you cross over the bridge.
Perth South offers two golf courses to suit the beginner to more challenging holes for the advanced golfer. Not only can you enjoy golfing but tube sliding as well! One of the courses turns itself into a popular winter destination with tube sliding for the entire family.
The countryside is steeped in history as the roads are dotted with fieldstone farm houses and beautiful churches. As you travel through Perth South look out over the horizon and spot the magnificent church steeples. Come and enjoy a little slice of rural heaven in Perth South!
