It is a U.S. holiday that kicks off their Christmas shopping season....it is also one of the busiest Canadian Border Crossing days of the year and a day Canadians' polish up their credit cards to shop U.S. online. This is a time to promote local shopping and educate the public on the impact shopping south of the border has on the Canadian economy, employment rate and long term welfare of Canadian families.
