Make sure you have your cooler to stock up on fresh local meats. Having passed the historic Fryfogel Inn on your way into Shakespeare, you will be pleased to know there are more modern accommodations available to you at the Shakespeare Inn.
Convenient free parking, at the main intersection, allows you to take your time and stroll the historic streets of Shakespeare. Land and Ross Antiques provides you with two opportunities to view "treasures of the past". Their main street store and The Shakespeare Antique Centre. These knowledgeable experts can help you find that perfect "something" you have been looking for!
Entering The Quilt Shop, 1000 bolts of fabric will greet you. This is where dreams come together to create family heirlooms. Filled with hand made quilts, quilting supplies and all the newest gadgets, this is a must for anyone who loves quilts. Tucked in amongst a variety of shops housing unique home décor and garden merchandise is a specialty shop extrodinaire! Bears am I is a bear lovers' paradise. By now, you will need to sit awhile, rest and have a bite to eat. A very short drive to the west end of Shakespeare brings you to RoseMarie's Family Restaurant. Good home cooking of locally produced food will refresh and restore you for the next part of your journey.
An absolute MUST stop in Shakespeare is Bright's Cheese and Butter Mfg. Co. Ltd. located right beside Shakespeare Pies. These two shops provide you with one stop shopping and an endless variety of treats to tempt your taste buds. Give yourself ample time to make the right choices and fill your cooler to the brim!
