Welcome to the City of Stratford
Come for the culture and stay for the shopping, the food and the nightlife!
Known for its world-class theatre, first-rate restaurants, unique shops and impressive Victorian architecture, Stratford has what it takes to create a memorable visit – whether you want to catch some action, or simply catch your breath. Take in a play at the Stratford Festival April through October, and make sure to tour the Costume Warehouse. Pick one of the many concerts offered during the annual Stratford Summer Music festival July through August or simply enjoy a relaxing picnic on the banks of beautiful Lake Victoria. The Stratford Chefs School funnels many of its graduates into local restaurants, which means there’s a culinary culture here that’s normally only found in much larger cities. Stratford is a unique mixture of new and old, action and relaxation, tradition and cutting edge – all wrapped up in one enchanting package!
